Genuine rare breed Portland sheepskin selected for its exceptionally soft, fine-textured wool and naturally distinctive neutral coloring. This is one of the lightest neutral pelts, reading predominantly ivory with only a delicate cool greige wash through the center. Sourced from UK flocks and ecologically tanned in Poland.

Measuring approximately 47″ x 35″. This particular hide is notably supple and flexible, with a soft blanket-like drape that can bunch underfoot. For that reason, it is best suited as a throw over a sofa, chair, bench, ottoman or bed rather than as a floor rug. Portland wool is naturally short, typically around 2″, and is prized for its exceptionally smooth, non-coarse feel.

Care: Shake the sheepskin regularly to release loose dust and refresh the fleece. Air naturally as needed and brush your sheepskin with a wire slicker brush to fluff the wool. Avoid excessive moisture, heavy soil and prolonged high-traffic use.
