Large Sheepskin Rugs – Oversized & XXL Genuine Sheepskins

Welcome to Noryageur’s curated collection of large sheepskin rugs – our specialty and passion. Finding an authentic oversized sheepskin rug is rare, but we maintain one of the largest selections of extra-large genuine sheep pelts in America year-round.

What makes a sheepskin “large”? We define oversized sheepskins as any hide measuring over 46 inches in length. The average sheepskin measures approximately 40 inches, making our XL and XXL pelts exceptionally rare. Our largest sheepskin rug ever measured an incredible 62 inches!

Every large sheepskin in our collection is hand-selected by our experts for exceptional quality, plushness, and natural beauty. These substantial hides make stunning floor rugs, luxurious furniture throws, or dramatic statement pieces for bedrooms and living rooms.

✓ Maximum Coverage – Perfect for placing under coffee tables, at the foot of king beds, or as area rugs
✓ Ultimate Luxury – More surface area means more plush comfort
✓ Rare & Unique – Only 10-15% of sheepskins qualify as “oversized”
✓ Statement Piece – Large hides create instant visual impact
✓ Better Value – More sheepskin per dollar than smaller pelts
✓ 100% Genuine – Real sheep hides, not synthetic imitations
