Rare Copper Brown & White Shorn Icelandic Sheepskin – Dense & Substantial 43″ × 32″

The substantial, densely packed fleece of this 43″ × 32″ Icelandic sheepskin creates an exceptionally plush surface. Shorn to approximately 2″, its wool has a soft, fur-like hand that is quite different from the more familiar wool texture associated with other sheep breeds.

The undyed wool reveals natural copper-brown tones ranging from lighter warm brown to deeper reddish brown, with a soft natural sheen and no added colorants. Natural white markings contrast with the copper-brown wool, making this particular hide entirely individual. The exact distribution of copper tones and white markings is shown in the photographs; no two hides are alike.

Sourced from organically raised sheep in Iceland and tanned in Poland, this genuine lambskin retains its organic hide shape. Its character and texture make it especially suited as a decorative rug or bench cover. The fleece is clean, beautifully finished, and never artificially dyed.

One of a kind — the exact sheepskin photographed is the one you will receive.
