Rare Copper Brown & White Shorn Icelandic Sheepskin Rug – Plush & Substantial 44″ × 31″

Generously plush and wonderfully substantial, this 44″ × 31″ Icelandic sheepskin is distinguished by its densely shorn 2″ wool. The short fleece has an unusually soft, fur-like quality rather than the conventional wool feel of many other breeds, while its even finish beautifully displays each natural marking.

The undyed wool reveals natural copper-brown tones ranging from lighter warm brown to deeper reddish brown, with a soft natural sheen and no added colorants. Natural white markings contrast with the copper-brown wool, making this particular hide entirely individual. The exact distribution of copper tones and white markings is shown in the photographs; no two hides are alike.

Sourced from organically raised sheep in Iceland and tanned in Poland, this genuine lambskin retains its organic hide shape. Its character and texture make it especially suited as a accent rug or chair cover. The fleece is clean, beautifully finished, and never artificially dyed.

One of a kind — the exact sheepskin photographed is the one you will receive.
