Very Soft Black Spotted Icelandic Sheepskin Rug 49″ × 36″

Very Soft Black Spotted Icelandic Sheepskin Rug – 49″ × 36″

A notably soft hide with naturally black spotting over a warm ecru and ivory base. The combination of generous width, deep markings and a softer hand makes this one particularly appealing as a furniture throw.

Each extraordinary Icelandic sheepskin begins with free-ranging sheep moving across Iceland’s open volcanic landscapes, breathing clean Arctic air and grazing ancient pastures. The result is wool with remarkable character: deeply textured, naturally expressive and alive with organic warmth.

The base is never a stark optic white. Think ecru, ivory and the quiet warmth of unbleached cream — the kind of neutral that settles naturally into a room. Against it, nature lays its signature in markings that can move from black-brown and deep chocolate to softer brown or gray.

As with genuinely natural curly hides, you may notice tiny flecks of leather nestled within the curls. They are a normal hallmark of an authentic hide and a reminder that this is a real natural material, not a manufactured imitation.

Drape it over a chair, layer it across a bed or bench, or use it as a soft accent rug beside the bed. It brings warmth to a space without looking overly styled — the ease of something genuinely natural.

Organically raised. Ethically sourced. One of a kind.
