German Sheepskins

Naturally Distinctive

These rare German sheepskins come from the exceptionally uncommon Bentheimer Landschaf, Deutsches Schwarzköpfiges Fleischschaf, and Weißköpfiges Fleischschaf sheep breeds. Some are purebred, while others are a natural blend of these distinctive breeds. All of our German sheepskins originate from sheep raised on organic farms in Germany and are professionally tanned in Poland.

Each sheepskin has its own individual character, with natural variations in color, markings, wool density, texture, and softness. No two are exactly alike. Some feature exceptionally dense, plush fleece, while others have a softer, more delicate texture that reflects the unique characteristics of the sheep.

Every sheepskin is individually photographed and listed, allowing you to see the exact piece you will receive and learn about its particular qualities before purchasing. These are genuine one-of-a-kind sheepskins, selected for their natural beauty and individuality.

By choosing a rare breed sheepskin, you’re purchasing more than a beautiful natural product. You’re also supporting the farmers who continue to raise these uncommon breeds, helping sustain traditional farming practices and the future of these distinctive sheep populations.
